London Centre for Fashion Studies

Based in the heart of the UK’s capital city, the London Centre for Fashion Studies offers flexible courses that are an exciting mix of practical training, creativity and commerciality.

Founded in 1991 by Dr Martin Shoben, an influential figure in the development of pattern-cutting education in both India and China, the Centre attracts students from all over the world. As well as our London based centre we also have a branch in Hanoi - LCFS Hanoi

Key to our success is our ability to combine the traditional skills and craftsmanship of pattern making and sample development with modern technology and business acumen. In addition, our size means that we can be flexible to your needs and provide specialist courses and bespoke staff training.

In May 2008 the Centre became part of Northumbria University, which means that while we can still offer the intimacy and nimbleness of a small college, we now have the backing of a major institution with an international reputation for delivering Great Learning, Great Experience and a Great Future.
